Announcements for October 31

Altar Flowers are given to the glory of God and in memory of Martin Luther, Philip Melanchthon, and all those others who reformed and restored the church of Jesus Christ by Don Alcorn.

Since we are back in the sanctuary, we ask that you continue to wear your mask and properly socially distance yourselves.

Adopt-A-Highway will Saturday, November 20. We will meet here at the church at 9:00. Please come out and help to make our roadsides neater and presentable to our neighbors.

Please don’t forget the needy that depend on Sharing God’s Love for food. They are involved with a Refugee Program. For that they need $25.00 gift cards, 5 lb. bags of rice, dried beans, cooking oil and new or old flatware. Please place your donations in the appropriate box. For a complete list see the bulletin board in the Office/Classroom Building.

Individual hearing devices are in and can be used today by those who need hearing assistance.

Interested in Advent? What is Advent. Pastor John will begin a Bible Study during the Advent Season. Should you be interested give him call. We can do it in person or by Zoom!

Quote of the Week

“It’s true. We’re beggars.” This is Martin Luther’s last written words (February 16, 1546). It is his final testimony to humankind’s total dependence on the grace and mercy of God and to life’s character as an absolute gift.
