Announcements for May 1

Altar flowers are given to the glory of God and in honor of all of our loving members who keep St. John’s Church alive and impactful, by Steve Kesler.

We welcome Pastor Jim Glander and organist Joan Marco to St. John’s, and thank them for leading our worship service this morning.

The LMM spring fish fry will be held on Thursday, May 12, at 6:30. The cost is $10 per adult and $5 for children under 12.

Council President Jan Samson met with Bishop Ginny Aebischer this week to discuss our transition to a new pastor. The Synod has identified an interim pastor, Rev Mark Buchan, who will begin serving us the last Sunday of June. Until then, we thank Pastor Jim and the other supply pastors who will be leading us in worship each week.

We need volunteers for Altar Guild and Lector. These are important tasks that help complete our service. If you are interested, please talk to Jan Samson.

The flower chart has several openings over the next months. If you prefer, you may make a donation to the charity of your choice and notify the church office of your dedication.
