Announcements for July 31

Today’s flowers are dedicated to the glory of God and in honor and gratitude for Pastor Mark’s leadership at St. John’s, by Jeannie and Colin Dailey.

There are posters of historical pictures which will remain displayed in the Fellowship Hall for the coming weeks. Some of the pictures are recently re-discovered old pictures. If anyone recognizes people in the pictures, there is space to note names.

Thank you to everyone who participated in VBS this week: our activity leaders Barbara, Hedda and John-Mark, Jimmy and LaRue, Jan and Pastor Mark, and our student leaders Nick, Kaylie, Hayley, Elizabeth and Isabella. And to all the students: We rejoice in each one of you!

Our VBS mission this year benefited Sole Stepping. We will continue collecting new pairs of sneakers in elementary children’s siz-es until the end of August. The sizes especial-ly needed by Sole Stepping are Sizes 1 through 3, including half sizes. Wide shoes are also needed.
