Announcements for 7/4

Altar Flowers are given to the glory of God and in honor and with much appreciation for Colin and Jamie Dailey and the Dailey Pride team for the wonderful work on the landscaping project by Don Alcorn.

Welcome to St. John’s on this day of celebration! St. John’s is rejoicing in our 107th Anniversary and Homecoming this Sunday. We are making a number of dedications, first Communion for seven of our youth, and recognition of our graduates.

We wish to thank Coleen and Homer Thompson and family for lunch today. They have provided for us the complete meal. Thank you so much!

We wish to congratulate Jade Eleazer and Brooke Scupp who received their Masters’ degrees. Congratulations goes out to Miles Johnson upon his graduation from High School.

Today we celebrate with our First Communicants: Caleb McKinney, Kaylie Moore, Haley Koen, Elizabeth Koen, Isabelle Koen, Nick Bell and Zoe Bell. Today marks a milestone in their Christian growth.

Planning has begun for this year’s Vacation Bible School. It will be held the week of July 26, beginning at 6:30 each evening. Helpers are needed to be leaders or assistants for activity centers, including snacks and games, crafts, story time, and music. Please contact Jan Samson if you are able to help with VBS this year.

Devotional Booklets are in the Narthex and in the SS/Office Building. Pick yours up today!
