Announcements for October 17

Altar Flowers are given to the glory of God and to all those who lost their lives to COVID by Steve and Gabe Kesler. May they rest in the arms of the Lord for eternity.

We are back inside the sanctuary! We ask that you continue to wear your mask and properly social distance yourselves.

Our Lutheran Men in Mission will have a Fish Fry on Thursday October 21 at the Picnic Shelter beginning at 5:00. Plates will be $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. Come to eat at the shelter or take home!

Please don’t forget the needy that depend on Sharing God’s Love for food. There are many who still need food staples: canned vegetables and soups, pasta, and the like. Please place your donation in the appropriate box.

Our Noisy offering today will be donated to Sharing God’s Love to assist in purchasing the above items.

Individual hearing devices are in and can be used today by those who need hearing assistance.

Interested in Advent? What is Advent. Pastor John will begin a Bible Study during the Advent Season. Should you be interested give him call. We can do it in person or by Zoom!

Quote of the Week

“When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.” – Mark Twain
