Announcements for November 14

Altar Flowers are given to the glory of God and in memory of her parents, Rev. Clarence & Mrs. Floy Richardson by their daughter Julia R. Parker.

Since we are worshiping in the sanctuary, we ask that you wear your masks and properly distance yourselves.

Thanksgiving is on the 25th of this month. As we celebrate our abundance, remember those who are less fortunate. Peanut butter & jelly, canned fruit & juice, macaroni, canned soup & crackers, pancake mix & syrup, small bags of sugar & flour, cereal, grits and oatmeal are all things these needy families could use. Your donations to Sharing God’s Love will help these families have a happy Thanksgiving.

Our joint Thanksgiving Service with Shady Grove UMC has been scheduled for Sunday, November 21 in their sanctuary at 6:00. The church is asking that we join in their choir in the worship service. Please let me know if you’re interested so I can give them a positive answer.

Adopt-A-Highway will be Saturday, November 20. We will meet here at the church at 9:00. Please come out and help to make our roadsides neater and presentable to our neighbors

On Sunday, November 21, our proposed spending plan for next year will be presented for your input and questions.
