Announcements for November 13th
The flowers on the altar today are dedicated to the glory of God and in memory of my parents, Rev Clarence and Mrs. Floy Richardson, and in honor of my sister Martha whose birthday was November 12th, by Julia Parker.
Just a reminder: Generations is Shady Grove’s senior education and social group, open to adults aged 55 and older. Generations meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 11:00 AM for devotion, short program and meal. The cost is $5.00.
On November 20th at 6:pm, St. John’s will host the annual community Thanksgiving Service. After worship, please join us in the Fellowship Hall for a dinner with our friends from Shady Grove UMC. Donations of desserts would be much appreciated.
Also, on November 20th we will have an informal meeting immediately following the worship service for the congregation to provide input on the proposed 2023 spending plan.
The Annual Meeting is set for December 4th, immediately following the worship service.
