Announcements for July 9

Altar flowers are given by Ann Carlson to the glory of God, in honor of St. John’s 109 years of welcoming, worshiping, and witnessing.

 

Don’t forget to sign up for altar flowers. Please email your dedications. August 20^th, and August 27 are currently open.

 

The History Team is requesting pictures of St. John’s over the years to add to our upcoming “Story of St. John’s.” The booklet will be prepared for our 110^th anniversary in 2024. Please contact Judy Truax with any pictures.

 

Today is Homecoming! Thanks to Coleen and Homer Thompson for catering the luncheon today. Let us all join for a group photo at the stage before we eat.

Pastor Mark will be on vacation/continuing education July 11^th through the end of the month.  Pastor Dan Kirkpatrick will be providing on July16th and the 23^rd and Bishop Ginny Aebisher will be presiding on July 30^th.

Emergency pastoral care duties will be provided by Pastor Tammy Grey from Shady Grove Methodist. Please contact Jan Samson for any emergencies. (803.920.5755)

The next Bible Study will be held on Wednesday August 9th.

 

On August 6^th we will not have worship at St. John’s. We will join Pomaria Lutheran for worship at 9am, followed by light refreshments. St. John’s will host a joint service the following Sunday, August 13^th. We will invite Pomaria members to join us for Break Fast at 9:30am followed by worship at 11:00am
