Announcements February 25

Welcome to St. John’s Lutheran Church!

 

Those wishing to formalize their relationship with St. John’s and become members of the congregation are invited to join Pastor Michele after church on March 17th following worship. Please RSVP to the office by March 8th. New members will be welcomed into the church on April 7th. If you cannot attend on March 17th but still want to become a member, please speak with Pastor Michele.

 

Lenten services will be rotating between churches beginning February 21. A meal will be served at 6:00pm with worship following at 7:00pm.

The schedule is as follows:

2/28 In Community with Creation hosted by Mt Olivet, Chapin with Pastor Larry Hagerty

3/6 In Community with Our Neighbor hosted by St Thomas, Chapin with Pastor Megan Lineberger

3/13 In Community with Those on the Margins hosted by St John’s with Pastor Frank W. Anderson We will need soups, sandwiches, and a salad for that night.  I do not have a good number yet, but in the past, we had about 100 people.  If you can make a soup for March 13th, please sign up in the fellowship hall.

3/20 In Community with Christ hosted by Bethel, White Rock with Pastor James Henricks

Pastor Michele will be out of the office 2/26-3/1 but will be reachable by phone or email.

 

There will be no bible study this week.

 

We need someone to volunteer for cleaning in March.

 

Colin Dailey will be available with the draft drawing of potential changes to the education building after church on March 3rd.
