Announcements for June 30

The altar flowers are given in Celebration of St. John’s Anniversary and in Honor of our friends from Pomaria Lutheran Church by Don Alcorn.

Today we are celebrating Homecoming and remembering the men and women who founded St. John’s Lutheran Church 110 years ago on July 4, 1914.

We offer a warm welcome to the members of Pomaria Lutheran Church who are worshiping with us today, and we look forward to joining them in worship in Pomaria on September 29, 2024, the next fifth Sunday in this year.

Following the service everyone is invited for lunch in the Fellowship Hall.

We thank Coleen and Homer Thompson for their generosity in providing this meal and for sharing their talents in preparing it.

Red St. John’s t-shirts are available in the Fellowship Hall.

Pastor Michele continues to make appointments to visit people in both congregations. Please call and make an appointment if you’d like to visit with her.

Pastor Michele will be on vacation from Friday, July 12 through Sunday, July 21, 2024. Pastor David Coffman will be preaching and presiding on July 14th, and Pastor David Seymour will be preaching and presiding on July 21st.

We need your cans: aluminum, steel or tin! We will take them and recycle them for cash for St. John’s Youth. Please remove ALL paper labels from your items before recycling and dump cans from plastic bags.
