Should you desire, you can contribute toward the purchase and installation of the sound system. Should you want to do this as a memorial or an honorarium, please designate this with your gift. Thanks!

Beginning this month, we are moving more and more toward normalcy in worship. You will notice some differences in worship that we haven’t used in over a year. More people will be involved in worship. We ask that you please observe the social distancing guidelines and now wearing your mask is an option. We also continue to reach our members and those who wish to participate in the life and ministry of our congregation either inside our community or in far-away places. We welcome those who are not able to be here in person through Facebook.

We continue to respond to the needs of our neighbors with our donations of money, food, and clothing. A box has been placed in the Narthex for you to place your gifts of nonperishable food items, or gently used clothing. All of your donations will be distributed through Sharing God’s Love.

On Monday, May 24 at 6:30 pm our Lutheran Men in Mission is sponsoring an evening of dinner and live entertainment at our Fellowship Hall. Invite friends and plan to join us for a delicious supper, entertainment, and fellowship. Dinner. Dupre’s Catering will provide stuffed chicken and roast beef, salad and sides. The cost is $15.00 per person and you can purchase your e-tickets using the “Give” button at St. John’s web site https://stjohnsirmo.org/. Tickets must be purchased by May 20.
