Announcements for May 8

Altar flowers are given to the glory of God and for all the Mothers this Mother’s Day, and our #1 son’s birthday, by Jeannie and Colin Dailey.

We welcome Pastor David Coffman to St. John’s, and thank him for leading our worship service this morning.

The LMM spring fish fry will be held this Thursday, May 12, at 6:30 pm. The cost is $10 per adult and $5 for children under 12.

Council President Jan Samson met with Bishop Ginny Aebischer last week to discuss our transition to a new pastor. The Synod has identified an interim pastor, Rev Mark Buchan, who will begin serving us the last Sunday of June. Until then, we thank Pastor David and the other supply pastors who will be leading us in worship each week.

The flower chart has several openings over the next months. If you prefer, you may make a donation to the charity of your choice and notify the church office of your dedication.
