Announcements for October 9

Today is Clergy Appreciation Day. The altar flowers are dedicated to the Glory of God in thanks for Pastor Mark, and all who served St. John’s before him. Ann Carlson and the rest of the congregation are grateful.

A recycle event sponsored by Keep America Beautiful for Richland and Lexington Counties will be held on Saturday October 15th at Irmo High School from 8am-noon.
Accepted materials include:
Cooking Oil
Paper for shredding (limit 5 Copy boxes)
Tires (limit 8)
Electronics (limit 8)
Scrap Metal

A BBQ for Sharing Gods Love will be held on Tuesday October 18th at the Irmo Office of Coldwell Banker located at 7474 Woodrow Street in Irmo from 11:30am to 1:30pm. There will be pulled pork barbecue plates that can be purchased to eat on site on as a drive-thru. Pre-ordered whole pork butts are also available.
