Welcome to St. John’s Lutheran Church!

The flowers on the altar are dedicated by Jim and LaRue Snyder in honor of Hedda Bell’s 40th birthday on January 31st and Coleen Thompson 43rd birthday on February 1st.

Even if yours hasn’t changed, please provide this information so that we can ensure that our records are correct. Thank you to those who have provided their contact information.

Bible Study will be held on Wednesday, February 1st at 10:30am in the Education Building.

We have a wonderful opportunity in this New Year to participate together in a Church Leadership Growth Course called “The Great ReEvaluation,” which will be led by The Rev. Mark Tidsworth. Anyone can join in the study, and it will help us discern where the Spirit is leading us in the new year. Think of it as a crash course in “where do we go from here?” I believe that it is an answer to one of my prayers, that is, how can I faithfully lead us out of the pandemic? There will be an Initial In-Person Gathering in February Pick one date and location that fits your schedule best and register online at https://scsynod.com/the-great-reevaluation/ Everything you need to know about this opportunity including the dates & times can be found on the website. The In-Person Gatherings will be followed up by six online Zoom Sessions held on Monday evenings scattered throughout the spring season. The cost with be covered by St. John’s.
