The altar flowers are given by Ann Carlson in honor of our youth and the families who support them along their faith journey.

Please join us for a youth spaghetti fundraising dinner at 5 P.M. this evening in the fellowship hall. You will be waited on by youth attending camp at Lutheridge on June 16th – 21st; they will be working for tips. We need donations of desserts, please.

Vacation Bible School will be held Monday, June 3 through Thursday, June 6 from 6:30-8:00 P.M. Classes are available for elementary students. Invite a friend and plan to join us! Please bring non-perishable goods and/or cash for Sharing God’s Love. Also, please bring desserts for the hotdog supper.

The men of St. John’s are invited to join the men of Pomaria on June 4th at 8:00 A.M. for Bible and Biscuits. Contact Dan Wiggers at (336) 708-1192 for more information.
Homecoming will be celebrated on June 30th. Pomaria Lutheran Church will be our guest on this 5th Sunday of the month. Coleen and Homer Thompson will provide lunch, including desserts! Worship service will be held at 10:00 A.M.

Children’s Church has been suspended for the summer. There will be activity pages for children in the narthex each week.

The youth of St. John’s need your cans: aluminum, steel or tin! We will take them and recycle them for cash for the St. John’s Youth. Please remove ALL paper labels from your items before recycling.

A big “thank you” to those who helped yesterday with trash cleanup for the Adopt-a-Highway program.
