ALTAR FLOWERS
The altar flowers are given by Don Alcorn to the Glory of God and in memory of all the saints of St. John’s who now reside in heaven.

ALL SAINTS SUNDAY: Remembering the Faithful
This Sunday we honor and remember the saints who have gone before us—those whose faith and lives have pointed us to Christ. Join us in worship as we give thanks for their witness.

PASTOR MICHELE WILL BE OUT OF TOWN
Pastor Michele is leaving for New Hampshire on Wednesday, November 5. She will be back late on Monday, November 10. Pastor Ron Philabaum (Mt. Horeb, Chapin) will be on call in case of an emergency. Council members have his contact information.

2026 PROPOSED SPENDING PLAN
Thank you to those who participated in the budget planning meeting last Sunday. Council will be discussing the plan today. The approved plan will be mailed to all voting members later this month in preparation for the annual meeting to be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

JOINT THANKSGIVING SERVICE
St. John’s will join Shady Grove UMC to celebrate Thanksgiving on Sunday, November 23rd at 6:00 P.M. at their church. Pastor Michele will preach, and the service will be followed by dinner.

Those wishing to participate in a joint choir should contact Norman McCorkle at 803-772-4395 and plan to attend a joint rehearsal on Wednesday, Nov. 5th at 6:00 P.M.

SCHEDULE TODAY
Council will meet today after church. The youth group will not meet today.

FALL WORKDAY
The Fall Workday is scheduled for Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 9:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Those who would like to begin work early may do so.

A list of tasks to be accomplished has been placed on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall. Please let Bonnie Stevens know by sending a request to the office at Office@stjohnsirmo.org if you would like to receive the list via email prior to the workday.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 9
Join us for a Service of the Word with a special Hymn Sing next Sunday, November 9th.

BIBLE STUDY
Bible study is held on most Wednesday mornings at 10:30 A.M. in the Education Building. However, there will be no Bible study on November 5. The study will resume with Chapter 10 of the Book of Job on Wednesday. November 12.
You may attend in person or via Zoom. If you prefer to participate via Zoom, please let Pastor Michele know so she can send you the link.
